Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Collaborative Healing Wisdom

Practice Update: Expanded Clinical Focus

In addition to providing Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), Dr. P Williams is expanding her practice to include comprehensive medical evaluation and collaborative care for patients living with complex, chronic, and multisystem conditions.

This expanded focus reflects advanced training and continued clinical development in conditions involving:

  • Connective tissue (hypermobility spectrum disorders, EDS)

  • Autonomic regulation (POTS, dysautonomia)

  • Immune and multisystem presentations (ME/CFS, MCAS)

  • Chronic musculoskeletal pain (RSI, PEM, central sensitization)

  • Chronic pain related to sports and dance

  • Somatic patterns related to both physical and emotional injury

These conditions remain rooted in physiology, though their patterns are often nonlinear and compensatory in nature. Care requires thoughtful integration of medical evaluation, structural assessment, and ongoing recalibration.

Extended initial visits are available to allow time for detailed medical record review, systems mapping, and collaborative planning.

For visit options and scheduling details, please see below.

New Patient must register into the Optimatra System to be scheduled (see below)

About Dr Victoria P Williams

Victoria P Williams, DO (she/her) is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and licensed through the Osteopathic Medical Board of California. She completed her undergraduate training at Mills College in Oakland, CA, earned her medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, and completed her residency at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, CA.

Dr. Williams currently serves as full-time faculty at Touro University California, where she teaches Osteopathic Principles and Practice and mentors medical students in hands-on clinical training.

With over 10 years of experience in full-spectrum Family Medicine, Dr. PW has integrated osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) throughout her clinical practice. She now focuses on complex musculoskeletal pain, hypermobility spectrum disorders, connective tissue conditions, and dysautonomia, offering comprehensive evaluation and collaborative care for patients navigating Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), POTS, MCAS and related systemic concerns.

Dr. PW brings a pattern-recognition–based approach to care — connecting structural findings, autonomic regulation, vascular dynamics, and lived experience. She provides thorough assessments, appropriate diagnostic workups, and thoughtful referral coordination when needed.

Complex chronic conditions remain rooted in physiology, though their patterns are often nonlinear and compensatory in nature. Dr. PW approaches these presentations with scientific rigor and clinical discernment, recognizing that effective care often requires ongoing recalibration and an individualized lens. Osteopathic treatment is integrated into a broader plan that prioritizes function, clarity, and nervous system regulation.

Her background includes extensive involvement in rehabilitation and dance, over 15 years of Pilates practice, and trauma-informed training through ACEs Aware and NICABM. She incorporates principles from Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support patients in understanding the mind-body interface and patterns shaped by injury, stress, and experience.

Dr. P Williams continues advanced osteopathic training through the American Academy of Osteopathy and is expanding her work in connective tissue and autonomic disorders through ECHO with the Ehlers-Danlos Society.

In addition to her medical work, raising two kids, and navigating her own chronic illness, she enjoys acting and creative expression, often exploring the intersection between embodiment, narrative, and healing.

"To find health should be the object of the doctor. Anyone can find disease.""

- Dr A.T. Still Founder of Osteopathy

Testimonials

"I feel deep ease and a new awareness of my body after a session with Dr Victoria. She identifies the parts that may have gotten stuck without judgement or blame and her incredible skills, accepting presence, and confidence help soften and release them."

Ishani Naidu

“Victoria's body work and osteopathy is very lovely! I've been a happy client of hers for over 4 years now. While her work has many of the characteristics of an awesome massage, her osteopathy adds another level of sophistication to the healing work she does. I appreciate the way she assesses my tissues, delicately going over sensitive areas and giving my body the time to trust and release holding patterns while at the same time sinking deeply into those difficult to access spaces and really moving stuff around. Her sessions are quite the treat!”

Dave Miller

"Dr Victoria brings a holistic approach and dedication with personalized treatments that has created such a positive impact on me. She is an exceptional healer and osteopath whose expertise and compassionate care have transformed my health journey."
